At the Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe is about to be bowled out by India in the opening Twenty20 International of the five-match series. Washington Sundar has selected two while Ravi Bishnoi has struck four times. Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar each have one wicket.

Shubman Gill, the captain of India, had earlier won the toss and chosen to bowl first. Gill announced during the toss that Abhishek Sharma, Dhruv Jurel, and Riyan Parag had been given their debut caps for India.

After winning the T20 World Cup in Barbados last month, veterans Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja announced their retirements. The five-match series will be India’s transition into the shortest format.
