Alia Bhatt and Aishwarya Rai walked the runway for cosmetics giant L’Oreal at the star-studded Paris Fashion Week earlier this week, rubbing shoulders with the world’s top stars.

After the first photos from the show surfaced on social media, Alia posted many shots from the night to Instagram. Many eagle-eyed followers, however, noticed a major omission from the photos: Aishwarya.

Fans of the veteran actor accused Alia of ‘cropping’ her out.

What pictures did Alia share on Instagram?

Alia posted several photos from the L’Oreal Paris Runway to Instagram on Tuesday night. The carousel post features her solo runway images as well as extended shots of the Bollywood starlet with other foreign celebs such as Kendal Jenner.

However, people pointed out that Aishwarya, who also walked the ramp, was not included in the group photo. In fact, other people pointed out that her dress’s sleeve was visible on the left side of the photo, indicating that she had been cut off.

As the photos went viral, Aishwarya’s admirers accused Alia of intentionally cropping her out. “This shows jealousy,” one Reddit user said. “She doesn’t want to share the spotlight,” said another on Twitter.

However, on Wednesday, some Reddit users published the photographs Alia had initially posted, pointing out that they were from Getty, a global photo agency, and that the cropping was done by the agency rather than by Alia.

Fawad Khan Comment on Maula Jatt

Actor Fawad Khan says the release of his blockbuster Pakistani film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ in India would be a “great way to handshake” if it were to happen, kind of like the sweets sent to one another in good times and on Eid and Diwali. Fawad Khan’s comments came days after the film was pulled from its planned December 30 release in India.

Kangana told the media, “I would love to produce and direct a film with all three Khans. And I would also love to show their talented side, wherein they can act and look good. And they can also do something, which is very significant to society. I want to make a film like that. Because I think they are all very talented.”

Kangana then revealed who her favorite Khan is in Bollywood. Kangana, who has often spoken out against Shah Rukh and Aamir Khan, said, “What they are doing is… of course they are adding a lot of revenue to the Bollywood film industry and we should be eternally grateful to them. Also, they are engaging with a mass of people, who need that kind of engagement. I think there is a very artistic side to all three of them, which has not been explored other than in just a few films. And I would love to explore that with (them) and so many other actors. One actor that I always regret not being able to direct is Irfan Khan saab (sir); he is one of my favourite Khans and I would always miss him.” The actor died of cancer in 2020.
