Motorola has introduced the Edge 60 Stylus in India, priced at ₹22,999

This device showcases a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, alongside a dual-camera configuration. Motorola Edge smartphone boasts an IP68 rating, military-grade certification, and will be accessible from April 23 through various channels.

Following the release of the Edge 60 Fusion, Motorola rolled out a fresh midrange smartphone in India featuring a stylus. Similar to its counterpart, the Edge 60 Stylus includes military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification and an IP68 rating, ensuring water and dust resistance, along with a quad-curved OLED display.

Specifications of the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus

The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is available in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, retailing at ₹22,999. Consumers can purchase the phone on Flipkart, through Motorola’s official website, and in physical stores starting April 23.

It can be found in two color options: PANTONE Surf the Web and PANTONE Gibraltar Sea.

In terms of performance, the device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor accompanied by Adreno 710 GPU. It offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded to 1TB via a microSD card.

The smartphone operates on Motorola’s My UX based on Android 15, guaranteeing 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches. The Edge 60 Stylus comes with a 5,000mAh battery capable of 68W wired fast charging and supports 15W wireless charging.

For photography, the device is equipped with a dual camera system on the rear featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-700C primary lens and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front, it sports a 32MP camera for selfies and video conferencing.

The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus boasts a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 10-bit pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an exceptional peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The front is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while the back has a vegan leather finish.

Regarding connectivity, the device supports 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and NFC. Moreover, it is equipped with dual stereo speakers that incorporate Dolby Atmos technology.

Motorola Edge 50 launch date and key features revealed; Motorola claimed to be the world’s slimmest military-grade phone

The Motorola Edge 50 is all set to be launched in India on August 1st – 2024. Motorola says it will be the world’s slimmest MIL-810 military-grade smartphone.

The company has revealed all the key specifications of the Motorola Edge 50. Motorola has revealed the Edge 50 will be available in three color options. The Jungle Green and Pantone Peach Fuzz colors will come with a vegan leather back, and the Koala Grey variant will feature a vegan suede back.

Display: The Motorola Edge 50 will boast a 6.67-inch 1.5K curved pOLED display and 1900 nits peak brightness with an in-display fingerprint, an upgrade from the 6.55-inch display and 1200 nits peak brightness on the Motorola Edge 40.

Chipset: The Edge 40 will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, which we have seen on the Samsung Galaxy F55 and Honor 90. Meanwhile, the predecessor was announced with the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC.

Cameras: The smartphone will flaunt a 50MP Sony LYT-700C main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with a macro option, and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 30x digital zoom. On the front, the Edge 50 will include a 32MP selfie camera. Comparatively, the Edge 40 was launched with dual camera sensors – 50MP+13MP.

Storage: There are no details regarding its RAM, but the Flipkart listing confirms the Motorola Edge 40 will offer at least 256GB of internal storage.

Operating System: Through the listing, it is now known that the upcoming Motorola phone will operate on Android 14, with 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates.

Battery and charging: The Motorola Edge 50 will house a 5,000mAh battery, which is a significant upgrade from the 4,400mAh battery on the Edge 40. However, the company will retain the 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
