“The Bachelor” contestant Grant Ellis has announced his separation from Juliana Pasquarosa just three months after the season finale

A day after Zach and Kaity from The Bachelor shared their wedding news, another couple from the show ended their engagement. Grant Ellis, a star from Season 29, revealed in an Instagram update on Friday that he and his fiancée, Juliana Pasquarosa, have chosen to part ways.

“Juliana and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. We both invested our best efforts and shared a lot of affection, but after extensive discussions, we’ve realized that we are not the right match for each other in the long run,” he stated. “What we experienced was significant. The bond we forged on the show was genuine, as was our attempt to continue that connection off-screen.”

He stated that there is no animosity between them.

“There are no hard feelings here. No bitterness,” Ellis’s message continued. “Just two individuals who care for each other and wish nothing but the best for one another as we move forward. I will always cherish what we shared and the development it brought.”

In a different message, Pasquarosa, a 28-year-old client services associate from Boston, described her relationship with the 31-year-old Ellis as “significant” and reassured fans that they are “still supporting each other, just from different locations now.”

Since their engagement aired on The Bachelor’s finale on March 24, Pasquarosa and Ellis have been facing breakup speculation. During a Q&A on her Instagram in May, Pasquarosa mentioned that she and Ellis found humor in the stories circulating about their relationship. “It’s important to value the opinions of those who love and know you. Those are the views in your life that truly matter,” she added.

Viewers of the finale were taken aback to discover that Ellis had made promises to the other finalist, Litia Garr, a 31-year-old venture capitalist from Utah. In a post-show interview during the live After the Final Rose segment, a shocked Garr revealed that Ellis had consistently assured her she was “the one,” right up until the night before he proposed to Pasquarosa.

“I recall saying goodbye to him and expressing, ‘Oh wow, we’re getting engaged tomorrow!’ and he responded, ‘I know, I can’t wait! I love you, I love you, I love you,'” Garr recounted.

Pasquarosa stated that Ellis had shared “everything” that transpired with Garr. “Nothing I heard came as a surprise,” she remarked. “I was prepared to learn that he had feelings and connections with other women on the show, as well as a few others.”

Businessman Sunjay Kapur, who was previously married to Karisma Kapoor, tragically passed away at 53 after experiencing a heart attack during a polo match in England. He is survived by his current wife Priya Sachdev and his two children from his marriage to Karisma—Samaira and Kiaan.

Suhel Seth, an actor and author, expressed his sorrow on X (formerly known as Twitter) regarding Sunjay Kapur’s death, confirming the information in a heartfelt note.

“I am deeply saddened by the news of @sunjaykapur: he lost his life earlier today in England. It is a profound loss, and I extend my sincerest condolences to his family and colleagues @sonacomstar. Om Shanti,” he wrote.

Their divorce was ultimately finalized in 2016.

In that same year, Karisma lodged a domestic violence complaint against Sunjay and his mother, alleging physical abuse and claiming that Sunjay was involved with another woman. What factors contributed to the surge in Adani Power’s share price?

On April 30, Adani Power disclosed its financial results for the March quarter of FY25 (Q4FY25), reporting a 3.7% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders, totaling ₹2,637 crore for the January-March quarter of FY25 (Q4FY25). Power sales under long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) rose 14.8% year-on-year to 20.8 billion units (BU), driven by increased capacity and heightened demand.

Total expenses increased by 9.2% year-on-year, reaching ₹11,274.32 crore. As of March 31, 2025, net debt was recorded at ₹31,023 crore, up from ₹26,545 crore the previous year, primarily due to borrowings related to acquisitions (notably KPL) and increased working capital requirements stemming from business growth.

The new titles are iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26. They are set to launch in late 2025, making them easier to remember than iOS 19, watchOS 12, and macOS 16.

The operating systems are available as developer betas starting today and will be accessible to all users this fall.

Liquid Glass Design

Apple is redesigning its operating systems. They will now feature a new Liquid Glass theme that enhances transparency in buttons, switches, sliders, text, and media controls across their interfaces.

The date, time, and notification previews on the lock screen of iOS 26 beta will also showcase this new appearance, allowing you to see your wallpaper clearly behind the text.

New Look for a camera

The streaming service shared a promo video over two minutes long on its YouTube channel, offering fans a sneak peek of what’s to come in the new season of Stranger Things season 5.

Fans can tune in from November to December. The first part will be available for streaming in India on November 27 at 5:30 am, followed by the second part on December 26 at 5:30 am. The final part will be released in India on January 1, 2026, at 5:30 am.

Davies had an even greater surprise in store for fans during the season finale of Ncuti Gatwa’s second season as the 15th Doctor – an unexpected regeneration.

As if that twist wasn’t enough, the new face that Gatwa’s Doctor morphed into is just as well-known to Who enthusiasts as David Tennant’s – that of former companion Billie Piper. Piper portrayed Rose Tyler during the show’s revival with Christopher Eccleston and remained with the series through much of David Tennant’s original tenure. Now, it appears she is the Doctor, leaving fans bewildered.

Costco exceeded both earnings and revenue forecasts as sales increased by 8%

On Thursday, Costco reported quarterly earnings and revenue that surpassed expectations due to an 8% rise in sales.

Here’s a comparison of the warehouse club retailer’s performance in its fiscal third quarter with Wall Street’s predictions, derived from a survey of analysts by LSEG:

Costco market performance

For the three-month span ending May 11, Costco’s net income grew to $1.90 billion, translating to $4.28 per share, compared to last year’s $1.68 billion, or $3.78 per share. Revenue increased from $58.52 billion in the same quarter last year.

Comparable sales, a key industry measure that excludes one-off factors like store openings and closures, saw an 8% rise, and e-commerce sales climbed nearly 16% relative to the prior year period, excluding gas and the effect of currency fluctuations.

As tariffs heighten economic concerns and may increase consumer prices, Costco could gain from these changes. Unpredictable tariff policies might draw more customers to Costco, known for competitive pricing and bulk discounts, and encourage their membership renewals. The club’s offerings also include discounted gas and groceries, which consistently attract customers even when consumer spending diminishes. Additionally, Costco’s large scale gives it a stronger position for price negotiations with suppliers compared to many other retailers.

In contrast to numerous other retailers, Costco does not provide a yearly forecast. Additional insights regarding the quarterly performance are expected during an earnings call set for 5 p.m. ET.

During the March earnings call, CEO Ron Vachris indicated that members increasingly depend on Costco during tough economic times.

“During uncertain periods, our members have historically valued high-quality products at excellent prices even more, and our teams will continue to meet this challenge by utilizing our global buying power, robust supplier partnerships, and innovative strategies,” Vachris remarked earlier.

Approximately one-third of Costco’s U.S. sales comprise imported goods, with less than half of that total deriving from China, Mexico, and Canada, as Vachris noted in March.

However, tariffs might also raise costs for Costco, potentially leading to higher prices for customers. Earlier on Thursday, Best Buy’s CEO Corie Barry stated that the retailer had already increased prices on certain consumer electronics due to tariffs. Last week, cosmetics brand E.l.f. Beauty declared a price hike on its makeup products. Walmart’s CFO John David Rainey also cautioned earlier this month that elevated prices would be available at the discount retailer’s stores and website in late May or June.

As of Thursday’s market close, shares have risen around 10% year-to-date, outpacing the S&P 500’s gains of less than 1% during that time.
