Film directed by Bilal Lashari, the film has already garnered global acclaim, and speculation is rife that a major Indian film studio, potentially Zee Studios, is gearing up to bring this cinematic spectacle to Indian audiences on 20th September 2024.

The epic, starring Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, and Humaima Malick, reimagines the classic tale of rivalry between Maula Jatt and Noori Natt. Initially set for a December 2022 release, the film’s entry into Indian theaters was delayed, but the latest buzz suggests the wait may soon be over. Actor Fawad Khan says the release of his blockbuster Pakistani film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ in India would be a “great way to handshake” if it were to happen, kind of like the sweets sent to one another in good times and on Eid and Diwali. Fawad Khan’s comments came days after the film was pulled from its planned December 30 release in India.

5 day ‘Stree 2’ box office collection: Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao and Akshay Kumar film crosses Rs 200 crore in India; Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein continue to struggle

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao, horror comedy Stree 2 has benefitted immensely from the partial Raksha Bandhan holiday on Monday. The film crossed the Rs 200 crore milestone in India within the first 5 days of its release.

4 Days Stree 2 Box Office Collections:

Stree 2 movie collected Rs 8.5 crore from its preview shows, Rs 51.8 crore on day 1, Rs 31.4 crore on day 2, Rs 43.85 crore on day 3, Rs 55.9 crore on day 4, and around Rs 37 crore on day 5. With this, the film’s total India net box office collection has reached Rs 228.45 crore as of its first Monday, according to film box office collection news. 

Stree 2 also has the distinction of being one of the fastest Bollywood movies of all time to cross the Rs 200 crore mark after Jawan (4 days), Animal (4 days), Pathaan (4 days), and Gadar 2 (5 days). The feat achieved by Stree 2 is commendable as it was not the only theatrical release this Independence Day. 

The horror comedy was released alongside John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh-starrer Vedaa and Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein. Both Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein are struggling at the box office. In its first 5 days, Vedaa has earned only Rs 15.50 crore whereas Khel Khel Mein has raked in merely Rs 15.95 crore.

Kangana told the media, “I would love to produce and direct a film with all three Khans. And I would also love to show their talented side, wherein they can act and look good. And they can also do something, which is very significant to society. I want to make a film like that. Because I think they are all very talented.”

Kangana then revealed who her favorite Khan is in Bollywood. Kangana, who has often spoken out against Shah Rukh and Aamir Khan, said, “What they are doing is… of course they are adding a lot of revenue to the Bollywood film industry and we should be eternally grateful to them. Also, they are engaging with a mass of people, who need that kind of engagement. I think there is a very artistic side to all three of them, which has not been explored other than in just a few films. And I would love to explore that with (them) and so many other actors. One actor that I always regret not being able to direct is Irfan Khan saab (sir); he is one of my favourite Khans and I would always miss him.” The actor died of cancer in 2020.

Google Pixel 9 Pro XL phone has been named after its massive 6.8” display, an OLED panel with 1,344 x 2,992px resolution and up to 3,000 nits of brightness.

According to the rumors in the market, the Google Pixel 9 series will not carry forth the tradition and will come out with the current Android 14 out of the box rather than introducing the next version. This is most probably an aftermath of pulling the launch of the Google Pixel 9 series forward, as the Google Pixel 8 series was launched in November 2024.

Google Pixel 9, Google Pixel 9 Pro, and Google Pixel Pro XL will be powered by the Google Tensor G4 chipset paired with the Titan M2 security chip. The top variant of the Google Pixel 9 series will boast a RAM of 16GB and a storage capacity of 128GB. The storage for the top variant comes with up to 1TB. The price for the base model of the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL is expected to be $1,100 in the US market, and the price tag for the 256GB model is likely to be $1,200. Simone Biles stepped up to perform on the vault at Tuesday’s team all-around final at the Olympic Games, her teammate Jordan Chiles was watching closely.

It had been this exact moment back in 2021, at the last Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where it had all unraveled for Biles. Amid the intense pressure of the world’s expectations, she had found herself in the arena suddenly unable to perform her high-flying routines, beset by the “twisties,” mysteriously incapable of twisting in midair despite having done so thousands of times.

The gold is the first medal of the 2024 Olympic Games for Biles, who was already the most decorated gymnast in history. It is her eighth Olympic medal overall and her fifth gold — though Biles said she doesn’t keep count.

“I’m doing what I love and enjoying it. So that’s all that matters to me,” she said. “I don’t think I’ll truly understand the depth of it until I walk away from the sport.”

At this Olympics, she could win as many as four more. Biles is set to compete again Thursday in the individual all-around final, in which Biles, Andrade, and fellow U.S. gymnast Lee, who won the gold in Tokyo, are considered the event’s strongest contenders. Biles also qualified to compete in three of the four event finals: vault, balance beam, and floor exercise.

Perhaps the biggest mistake Biles made on Tuesday night came before the competition began: as Team USA was being introduced, she ran out onto the arena floor too early.

The company has revealed all the key specifications of the Motorola Edge 50. Motorola has revealed the Edge 50 will be available in three color options. The Jungle Green and Pantone Peach Fuzz colors will come with a vegan leather back, and the Koala Grey variant will feature a vegan suede back.
